Air Fryer Beef Ham Cheese (Printable version)

Delicious flaky croissants with layers of beef, ham, and cheese, cooked to golden crisp using an air fryer.

# What You'll Need:

→ Croissant Dough

01 - 4 refrigerated crescent roll dough triangles

→ Meat Fillings

02 - 4 slices cooked roast beef deli meat
03 - 4 slices deli ham

→ Cheese

04 - 4 slices Swiss or cheddar cheese

→ Optional Enhancements

05 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
06 - 1 tablespoon softened butter for brushing

# Directions:

01 - Set air fryer temperature to 350°F and allow it to preheat for 3 minutes before cooking.
02 - Open refrigerated dough tube and separate into 4 individual triangles. Arrange on clean work surface with wide end closest to you.
03 - Spread a thin, even layer of Dijon mustard across each dough triangle if using mustard for added flavor.
04 - Place one slice of roast beef, one slice of ham, and one slice of cheese on the wide end of each triangle, slightly overlapping the meat.
05 - Starting from the wide end, roll each triangle toward the pointed end. Tuck in the sides as you roll to enclose the fillings completely.
06 - Position croissants in air fryer basket with seam side facing down. Space evenly to allow air circulation and prevent touching.
07 - Brush tops lightly with softened butter using a pastry brush for enhanced golden color and flavor. Skip if preferred.
08 - Cook at 350°F for 7-8 minutes until exterior turns deep golden brown and cheese is fully melted. Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.

# Expert advice:

01 -
  • The air fryer creates this impossibly crisp exterior while keeping the inside ridiculously melty
  • They come together in under 20 minutes but taste like something from a bakery
  • You can customize the fillings based on whatever's in your fridge
02 -
  • Don't overcrowd the air fryer basket or they'll steam instead of crisp up
  • Let them cool for at least 2 minutes before biting into them—the filling gets insanely hot
  • If the cheese starts oozing out too much, you can tuck it back in with a fork halfway through
03 -
  • Egg wash instead of butter creates an even shinier, more professional-looking finish
  • A sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning on top before air frying is a total game changer
