03 - Arrange apple slices on top of the goat cheese layer.
04 - Drizzle honey or fig jam over the apple slices if desired.
05 - Place arugula or baby spinach on top and finish with a sprinkle of freshly ground black pepper.
06 - Top with chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch, if using.
07 - Close each croissant sandwich with its top half and gently press to secure.
