# What You'll Need:

→ Bread

01 - 8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread, crusts removed

→ Cheese

02 - 8 sticks mozzarella cheese (or cheddar, about 1 oz each)

→ Coating

03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 2 tbsp milk
05 - 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
06 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1 tsp garlic powder
08 - 1/2 tsp dried oregano
09 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
10 - 1/4 tsp salt

→ For Frying

11 - 1/3 cup vegetable oil

# Directions:

01 - Using a rolling pin, gently flatten each slice of bread until thin but still intact.
02 - Place a cheese stick or a strip of cheese at one end of each bread slice. Roll up tightly to seal the cheese inside.
03 - In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk until fully combined.
04 - In another shallow bowl, combine panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, pepper, and salt. Mix well to distribute seasonings evenly.
05 - Dip each roll up first in the egg mixture, ensuring full coverage, then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
06 - Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
07 - Fry the roll ups in batches, turning frequently until all sides are golden brown and crispy, about 2–3 minutes per batch.
08 - Transfer cooked roll ups to paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

03 -
  • Spread a thin layer of garlic butter on the bread before adding cheese for next level flavor
